One room contained between 7 am 11 pm, while other standard lighting. The current analysis includes 60 participants (30 control 30 custom room), who matched time-of-year admission date. We first analyzed probability any given epoch across each subject’s compared distributions 24-hour cycle all subjects vs conditions. additionally evaluated total nocturnal duration(11 PM – AM) 1) summating epochs on nights containing least 50% valid data 2) normalizing measured sleep/wake outputs (excluding indeterminate epochs). Results distribution was significantly different condition (p < 0.001) most apparent diversion 9 pm am. average raw duration higher (270.0 ± 23 minutes 201 min control, p = 0.037), as per hour recording (36.9 15 28.4 13 0.022). There no significant differences number or Conclusion Custom appears promote hospitalized patients, but interpretation tempered absence full validation mattress sensor against polysomnography.
